Standing Extended Leg Pose – Utthita Hasta Padangusthasana
Stand up and find balance on the left leg bring the right leg up (straight or bend) and grab the big toe with the index and the middle right fingers. The left hand is on the left hip. Relax the shoulders down and open the chest to gain balance. Look forward. The base knee must be straight at all times, otherwise you will lose balance. Breathe long and deep while holding the position for a few breaths. Then switch sides.
